The Homestead Corn Maze
Through the Years

 

We have had lots of fun over the past few years with our corn mazes. Below are pictures of the last eight we constructed and some information about each one.

 

 

 

 

2002 Statue of Liberty: We decided to do the Statue of Liberty Corn Maze after the 911 Tragedy. We thought we would do our part to show our patriotism to our country. This was our first maze.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2003 Harley Davidson Motor Cycle: We decided to do this maze in recognition of the Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary.

 

 

 

 

 

2004 Our Farm Maze: We decided to do our farm as our corn maze theme. It depicted our farm animals and our unique grass-roofed barns. 

 

 

 

 

 

2005 Noah’s Ark Maze: We have always liked the story of Noah’s Ark with all the animals so we decided to do an ark maze design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2006 Wisconsin Maze: We thought it would be fun and educational to do our state symbols and the outline of our state.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2007 Charlotte’s Web: We decided to do Charlotte’s Web because it is a great story about a little farm pig who changed how people thought about their little town and each other in that town. It was also a favorite story of Barbara’s since her third grade teacher, Ione Morris, read it to her 3rd grade class.

 

 

2008 America the Beautiful: We decided to do America so people could "travel" around America and learn about our great country while doing the corn maze.

 

 

 

2009 Nellie Our Farm Dog Maze: Nellie is our farm mascot and is a very popular attraction to people of all ages when they come and visit the farm. Nellie was named after Nellie Guifoile, Mark’s grandmother, who owned the farm at one time.
