Summer Field Trips

(weekdays only-by appointment)

Summer field trips are available by appointment for organized groups. One group leader for each tour is admitted free of charge for each package. Groups are welcome to bring snacks or lunches. We have picnic tables available outdoors. This package includes a mix of fun, history, farm life, and outdoor activity making it a perfect out-of-the-classroom learning experience for people of any age! Tax-exempt groups should provide a leave-behind copy of their tax exempt forms at the time of their tour to avoid a sales tax charge. We do not accept credit cards. Minimum group charge is $175.00.

Our Summer Package - 

Our summer tour consists of a 20–25 minute “Picture Puzzle” hayride through our woods and around our scenic country farm. Groups can spot "Picture Puzzle" cards and solve the puzzles as they travel on the hayride. Children will learn about the different types of crops we grow and use on the farm and how farmers affect our daily lives. Our tour also includes a visit to the barnyard to hold baby chicks (when hatchlings are available). We also have the group of friendly donkeys for students to interact with and pet within each student’s comfort level. They will see many different types of antique farm equipment and learn how farming has changed over the years. We also offer an interactive childrens' exploration area.

The cost for this field trip is $7.50 ea. for participants and chaperons.
